The so-called accumulator bets are very popular. Simply put, you can select more than one match and place your wager on all of them. The odds on each selection are multiplied and you get a tasty overall price. Usually, there’s no limit on the number of matches you can bet on. To be successful at horse race betting you should become familiar with the 5 best horse racing bets. 1 – The Win Bet. Even after all the years that horse race betting has been available, the straight win bet is still the best wager you can make. It is a bet that honestly rewards the smart handicapper.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE BETTING STRATEGY
The key question when betting on Both Teams To Score is 'What kind of teams should I choose and which ones do I avoid?'
Obviously, placing a bet on both teams to score should only be done on matches where you can see that there is a very high chance of both team scoring. Generally, BTTS tipsters alway look for offensive minded teams facing each other.
Furtheremore, we do not want a gross mis-match where the home team are massive favourites. The best choices are matches in which the away team are slightly stronger (bear in mind that if both teams are priced at 6/4 then the away team are effectively the stronger pick).
Keeping track of individual team stats is vital. in 2012/13, for example, Tottenham were the team to back in the Both Teams To Score market as they scored and conceded in 71.1% of their matches, and taking into account only the away matches, the percentage jumps to 78.9%. So, if they have a history of 0-0 draws then maybe it's better to avoid backing BTTS.
Another good habit is looking for motivation of any of the teams and placing bets as close to kick off as possible. This allows you to consider team news. If a star striker is injured the chances of that team scoring obviously fall.
BTTS BETTING STRATEGY: RULES
If you do not have enough time to consider all these factors, you can use our mathematical system in which you will assign points to every match according to a set of rules.
Looking at the last 6 matches, we apply our own marking system
HOME TEAM POINTS
R1) +1 point for every match when both teams scored
R2) +1 point for every home match when both teams scored
R3) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 scored per game
R4) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 conceded per game
R5) -2 points for every 0-0 draw
AWAY TEAM POINTS
R6) +1 point for every match when both teams scored
R7) +1 point for every away match when both teams scored
R8) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 scored per game
R9) +0.5 point for each goal over 2 conceded per game
R10) -2 points for every 0-0 draw
MATCH POINTS
Take into account the following rules considering the current match.
R11) +2 points if the away team is slightly favourite
R12) +1 point if the home team is slightly favourite
R13) -2 points if the home team is heavy favourite
R14) -1 point if the away team is heavy favourite
Now sum home team, away team and match points and select only matches with total points higher than 18.
BTTS STRATEGY: EXAMPLE
Let's taking into account Arsenal v Manchester City with odds:
- Home @ 2.78
- Draw @ 2.95
- Away @ 2.55
We count 2 points (due to R11)
Then we look at their last matches.
Arsenal last 6 matches
- Tottenham 1 - Arsenal 3 = 1.5 points (R1 R3)
- Arsenal 2 - Crystal Palace 0 = 0 points
- Arsenal 3 - Everton 1 = 2.5 points (R1 R2 R3)
- Bayern Monaco 2 - Arsenal 2 = 1 point (R1)
- Arsenal 5 - Aston Villa 1 = 3.5 points (R1 R2 R3)
- Liverpool 3 - Arsenal 1 = 1.5 points (R1 R4)
TOTAL HOME = 10 pointsManchester City last 6 matches
- Manchester City 2 - Swansea 0 = 0 points
- Manchester City 2 - Stoke City 1 = 1 point (R6)
- Liverpool 1 - Manchester City 3 = 2.5 points (R6 R7 R8)
- Real Madrid 3 - Manchester City 1 = 2.5 points (R6 R7 R9)
- Manchester City 4 - Sunderland 3 = 2.5 points (R6 R8 R9)
- Borussia Dortmund 1 - Manchester City 1 = 2 points (R6 R7)
TOTAL AWAY: 10.5 points
Adding all the points (match + home + away) we have a total of 22.5. Since this amount is higher than 18.5, Arsenal v Manchester City is a very good candidate for our BTTS matches selection.
BTTS BETTING CONSIDERATIONS
One problem with the BTTS market is that the odds rarely rise far beyond evens, and that's why punters in search of a big win often decide to bet using an accumulator. We always suggest to bet on single bets - it's the best way to try to bash the bookies. Anyway, it’s up to you how you want to bet – singles, doubles, trebles or accumulators. But always look around for the best prices. It's pivotal!
